That's a bit of a strange situation. Normally when it says that you need to have your ticket reissued, it would indicate that the reservation doesn't match the ticket -- generally because the re-ticketing failed. But if re-ticketing failed, you never should have gotten a new ticket number. Regardless, I agree with the other suggestions -- HUCA or file the DOT complaint I originally suggested.
