Very simple questioning. The officer complimented me on being prepared, said people came in without anything at all. I think if you have very basic documentation and a clear narrative you’re fine.
- US-interview was a formality just asked if I traveled to Asia for business and accepted the “yes” no questions.
- Almost immediately after the US-interview the system sent an email noting it was approved and to expect the card in the mail.
The most confusing part of this is that as Canadian Nexus in the TTP program you can't schedule an appointment for a ABTC. And it has to start on the Canada side but I bounced between the 2 sides 4+ times before I finally got someone that understood how to process it. So just be persistent at a Canadian Nexus office until they process it.
Is there any way the Americans can be the first to process for a Canadian NEXUS holder as an interview on arrival from Europe to an American airport? Or is that totally out of the question.
