I'm certain there are luggage storage places at Sydney airport to drop hand luggage. I've also used one at Central station.
thank you station could work too! Re the lounge, surely on a through ticket its their own connection so they have to let me access lounge? From CHC there is no other option, there is only one QF flight that would make the QF1 connection
