Tickets are valid for one year from the initial issue date. The system should not have let you reissue the ticket. However, if a
new 016.. ticket number was issued, I’d expect that UA should honor it. UA doesn’t provide an explicit escalation path, so I’d file a DOT complaint that UA is refusing to honor a ticket that they issued.
If you merely have an email, but no new ticket number, then I would not expect UA to honor your ticket.
