you assume any of your experience would get better when there are fewer people at your status level. I am afraid once BA start selling lounge access you will find the lounges no less busy, and I am really not sure what premium ground experience aspect you expect to be added.
as has been stated many times now, none of these changes have anything to do with making lounges quieter.
It’s exactly the same as when BA removed F from routes and reconfigured aircraft from 14F to 8F, some applauded the move saying it would improve the F experience.
