Assuming you will remain gold for next year then you’ll still get your gold perks even in those cabins.essentially Ba have said, if you aren't spending 7£+ a year with us, and you wish to have lounge, fast track etc, you’ll need to pay for premium seats.
i don’t think this is unreasonable. I perhaps have a slightly different view , as I don’t travel much, usually 6 or 7 return trips a year and always in Business or above, so do not really value my status as much as I would if I were to fly in eco. It is clearly very frustrating to a lot of people what BA have done, but I really do believe it will make those flyers who pay premium have a better experience. How can it not ??
