Not sure if you've seen this before but my Aadvantage account was hacked in November. The hackers issued award flights and booked hotels with points as well. I went through the process with AA's fraud department, they said I needed to be issued a new Aadvantage account and everything would be transferred over. All done and good.
Now I'm trying to book an award hotel using AA Hotels but it's giving me an error. I tried calling and emailing AA hotels CS and all they say is that my account is locked due to a suspicious login attempt. I called AAdvantage Customer Service and talked to their fraud department again and they tell me my account is fine and in good standing.
AA hotels customer service keeps saying my account is locked and there is nothing they can do to unlock it.
Any ideas on how to solve this?
