It sounds like your complaint is that elites are being sent to the hotel restaurant for complimentary breakfast.
You should come to the US where some properties try to get away with a $15/day credit which doesn’t even cover breakfast. Or hotels where the complimentary elite breakfast is a muffin and a coffee.
