It looks like I won't make the connection. There is a later flight with United that would get me into PSP this eve, otherwise it looks like I'm not getting there until tomorrow and will lose my round of golf.
As operating carrier, am I right to think BA should arrange rebooking, albeit AA needs to reticket it? Will BA (or AA) rebook onto United?
I'll buy wifi so I can get in touch with whomever I need to / check for updates, but would welcome recommendations of what, if anything, I should do next please - particularly given the AA ticket.

I am not sure who is responsible for rebooking here, AA v BA. But I have always found AA to be flexible and have been rebooked on UA three times in the last couple of years, typically at the ticket desk in the Admirals Club/Flagship Lounge, when my flight has been delayed/cancelled/or I have missed connection. One of the agents told me that they are able to do it, provided it is not during weather disruption.
