No BA cancellations so far today. There are half a dozen USA cancellations on other carriers though. 305 BA departures out of 604. There are ground and air frost warnings out, and there are delays around de-icing at the moment. ATC have asked pilots to keep them updated on status since the bottlenecks are stands and the de-icing areas, whereas the runways have a bit of spare capacity. But still, travellers can expect at least some delays today.

Weather: Another cold morning with likely frost and airframe icing. There is a Medium-Low risk of freezing fog developing during the early hours of the morning, with a Medium-Low risk of LVPs until 11Z. Visibilities improving through the late morning with a low risk of lingering into the afternoon (Low risk LVPs 11-22Z). Patchy cloud at times during the afternoon. The risk of freezing fog then returns in the evening with a Medium-Low risk as another cold, clear and dry night occurs. Winds light and variable to start, mainly N'ly, becoming light to gentle NW'ly from late morning.
Air and Ground frost warning 0001-1100
Freezing Fog risk 0200-1100
Rate increased to 38/60 from 0640-1300, 40/60 1300-2000 as Vis is still very good. There is a risk of this dropping if the weather deteriorates as ML risk of LVP still exists until 1100 and some patches of fog
around. Current air temp -4 degrees, De-icing is expected all day, some schedule shift is likely and possible TSAT delay. Could see an end change onto Westerlies later but winds are very light and variable.
