It seems from this thread that there is no clear favorite luxury hotel in Singapore and was wondering what gets the strongest recommendations. I am leaning more towards MO over Raffles because I don’t find Raffles as appealing in terms of design even though it’s beautiful, just not my style. I’m also considering Marina Bay Sands for access to the iconic pool but not sure if it’s a good idea. Any thoughts on MBS? MO? Thank you!
MBS is such a tourist attraction and such a large hotel, the lobby area is very congested. Don’t mind visiting, but wouldn’t want to stay there. Raffles is also a tourist Mecca, but non-guests are barred from entering the lobby unless eating at the restaurant.
