Agree. No hype over here. While soft product is nice, Bidding prices for upgrades are often silly. Service is notoriously inflexible - and when things go wrong (luggage delays, broken seats, shifting you from your chosen seat upon boarding, etc there’s a bit of no apology and no explanation phenomenon) but maybe that’s more a manifestation of Taiwanese culture, rather than the airline itself.
