Yeah, I was a little surprised the last time I went through ORD. One of the rare times I needed to check a bag. I went to the premier line and found the kiosks at the desk were all converted to self-tag. (At least the ones in my immediate vicinity)
I don't want to put my own tag on. Well anyways, the tags printed, then I was trying to figure out how to print the BP.
Finally, someone came over to help. She went deep in the menus to print my BP. I had a suitcase and a box to check. She put on the tag on the suitcase and put on the priority tag. She had more priority tags but told me to goto the counter for the box. Maybe because they wanted to know what was inside. He put the tag on the box and said thank you. Didn't even check my ID. I asked about the priority tag and he used the small barcodes to tape it onto the box. I thought it was a little strange.
I guess it doesnt matter, the priority tag is always ignored at PHL.

Maybe I'll just goto the 1K desk next time.
