I have a question regarding the 30,000 elite miles for spending $60,000 This year. I won’t be traveling anywhere near as much for work this year so I’ll have trouble hitting 100 K unless I get this, And normally I wouldn’t spend $60,000 on my credit card in a year. Do y’all think it’s worth it to pay the IRS taxes using this card and paying a 1.75% fee (And then paying it off right away)?
I realize for each $10,000 that amount to $175 but when I look at what 100 K gets me it seems make sense to do this if that is my goal.
It's 1 eqm for every $3 of spend, so you'd have to charge $90K to get the 30K eqms. That said, many take mileage runs that cost more than the $0.0525 per eqm the AS Visa use costs when paying taxes.
