This is definitely the downside of rolling the dice and not cancelling. These last minute cancellations are much more impactful to customers and will make it harder for DL to recover, as planes and crews will be unexpectedly out of place.
They are too arrogant to start canceling into tomorrow, which means this will cascade for several days longer than it has to.
Can we call this an ice-covered “meltdown” yet?
