I have an international C-code question: we're looking at June/July DFW-CDG flights which have 0 C-code upgrades available currently. I talked to an AA rep who explained that it's on a waitlist now - I'm aware of the mileage/co-pay side of things going from O/Q code to C - and the way he described the waitlist made me think it might be different than the standard domestic waitlist process, almost as if the rolldown emails might come earlier than the standard 48-hour PLT window since it's international flights. Did I misunderstand?
We're looking at direct vs through CLT; I don't think there's much better chance of getting an upgrade from CLT-CDG than DFW-CDG, but if anyone knows differently please correct me.
