Just noticed this, so perhaps other oneworld carriers do not see the status; it is unclear whether lounges other than AA lounges could be accessed, and the marketing materials do not mention lounges.
Shucks, I am kind of an Alaska loyalist (have the CC and a family of 4 so kind of a no-brainer) so I was hoping that the AAdvantage Status for a Day could apply to Alaska flights, but I guess not. Similarly the milestone seat coupons is only on AA operated flights...so I guess none of this will help me much.
