I have literally never received an email congratulating me or acknowledging me for levelling up Elite status. 25k, 35k, 50k.
I searched my inbox for that exact text, and nothing. And, no, I didn't delete these emails out of spite just to play victim.
So in my case at least, this is literally an AC and Aeroplan failure. As far as I'm concerned, I've never been communicated by Aeroplan that the benefits selection has to be made by Dec 30th of a given year.
