LGA-JFK transfer issues - help for 1st time travelers
We have some European friends who will be traveling to visit us this summer. They will visit a few locations in the Northeast and the South (where my home is). Their last stop in the U.S. before returning home to Europe will be to Disney World after which they are currently scheduled to fly back to NYC to get their flight back home to Switzerland.
Their travel agent booked them on Delta, MCO-LGA and JFK-GVA with a 3.5 hour connection time between the two airports. They are a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 pre-teen children (11yo & 9yo). French is the first language, English, second for the adults. French only for the children. The family was gifted a travel voucher to the travel agent, who, in turn, used a ticket consolidator to purchase the airline tickets. They will have checked luggage. The flight is on a Saturday in July.
The question is: Does this itinerary seem doable? IMO, it seems fraught with potential pitfalls and stress for inexperienced travelers.
Thank you for any insights that you can provide. Let me know if any additional information is needed.
