If using the Reserve Now/Pay Later option, do I have to use a Citi AA credit card or can I use a card that would earn a higher return on hotels? Below is the disclaimer on the booking page..."The actual reservation charge will be processed by the hotel property on this card, at any time up to the check-in date.

Bookings made under the "Reserve now, pay later" payment feature with the CitiŽ / AAdvantageŽ Executive World Elite MastercardŽ card will not earn 9X bonus AAdvantageŽ miles."
