Agree that it'd be best to mix and match SS and Aman to best suit your needs. We did all 5 Amankora lodges on our trip and part of the beauty is that it doesn't really feel like a long, arduous road trip where you are constantly switching properties since the room layouts are largely identical. So on the flip side, you wouldn't be missing out on much by not staying an Aman Paro and if anything, SS may be a nice change of pace.
