This is one of the perks that really gets me as a GS. I wouldn't mind being able to bring in guests to the UA lounge. I would also think that allowing GS to have polaris lounge access regardless of cabin/destination would be a nice perk as well.
Flagship lounge access at the hubs on AA is the reason I am CK as well as GS. That single perk cost UA $50K+ in spend from me. I have spent, in aggregate, days of my life in the ORD Flagship lounge and it is just so much more enjoyable than an Admirals Club (or United Lounge).
