otherwise it feel having looked at the other side you have seen the grass is not greener over there and you are sticking with BA despite they fact that they are, according to you "already broken"

in that case it may be time for us to accept its not what it was years ago, we might not all be getting what we used to get, but it is still better than what else is on offer and we need to accept the new way of things
I have Amex Platinum which still gives me Priority Pass with unlimited visits, but most lounges these days are fairly full and start limiting entrance. In FAO for instance it is common that from about 75% occupancy start limiting entry only to passengers by virtue of airline invitation rather than lounge pass subscription. As I said, I also have Star Alliance Gold so if I pick the right airline, I also get a lounge with that. TAP in J is also not bad, and often for very good prices.

With a number of airlines and routes, it is indeed still nearly as good as it used to be, but with BA it is not, and I am unlucky that I need to fly a route on which BA is the only legacy carrier. I have flown EZ and even FR many times, I set expectations low and am then never disappointed. With BA my expectations are higher, as is (normally) the price, but that has recently often ended in disappointment. I don't just mean my flight before Christmas, there were plenty of others with many issues not individually worthy of complaint but which add up to a meh experience. Despite how it may sound, I really do not like to complain, I'd rather just get on with things.
