I just stayed at FS DIFC in a Studio Suite Burj View (the Burj view is a must). It was a great hotel. We were there between Christmas and NYE and there was once or twice that I woke up to traffic at 2 AM, but I think it had more to do with it being a weekend over a busy season (September should be quieter). I'm a TA and did a site inspection of FSJB and it's lovely, that's where I would stay next time (just request a room that quiet and not facing the adjacent night club). The Lana should have quiet and shiny new rooms, but the reviews around service have been mixed.
