25USD is the change fee for a Saver award. A change of cabin, not a cancellation, would be doable for 25 USD but it would mean upgrading/ changing the existing flight that is booked in Y. Meaning to book Y and then try to change that Y segment to J when available, but that doesn't work if you have a separate wait list.
If you are truly cancelling it costs 75USD for saver and 50USD for Advantage awards to redeposit the miles and such.
