Besides the Sapporo Snow Festival/Otaru Light Festival, are there any events worth checking out around that time? Unfortunately, will arrive 2 days late and miss the snow festival this year but will try to make it for the last day of the Otaru Light Festival. It will be our first time in Hokkaido and plan on doing 5 nights in Sapporo and 3 in Hakodate. Also, any recommendations on activities such as snowtubing/dog sledding around Sapporo area?
