For the most part, the same foods here are not very good or so inauthentic (Laksa + pork chop being the one example that immediately comes to mind). Makes me want to open a hawker stall. Although there are a few ingredients I can't find here.

Any recommendation for yum cha? Hopefully something better than Swee Choon.
The past year and change I've been unable to travel, mostly because of lots of domestic stuff which required my attention. Hopefully, I'll be able to visit SIN in March. The last time I had Swee Choon as at T2? There is a place a couple of years ago my friend had brought me too. I can't recall the name (I really should pick up business cards or take pics of menus), but it was within a couple on Oxley Road near the Grand Hyatt, and was very famous for their roast duck. She brought me there because she knew my love for roast duck, but the dim sum was surprisingly excellent, in my view.

PS - Will get you the name if I ever come up with it. I'm still searching for that great char siu hawker place I visited several years ago. I think it was the best I've ever had.
