I guess you are not familiar with demographics but they do fly the same route and earlier JSX flew the exact route. JSX did fly from PHX-CLD but JSX moved from PHX to SDL-CLD which has a bigger pile of money of flyer demographics in North Scottsdale than most parts of PHX not that there are very wealthy areas of PHX but SDL has more money . And the dirty tactic is now you have TSA in Carlsbad as before you could just fly in and out without TSA
