Yeah, if the rates were $50-$150 even I’d try it, I feel like that’s a fair value for a nice tent for the night. We were looking at the one in Yosemite, and for 2 Adults and 2 Kids the cheapest one was like $800 after taxes.

Pre-panemic, you could "glamp" at Yosemite (heater, cot, access to shower/toilet block) for about $120 a couple. I'm sure it's more now, but way cheaper than Under Canvas (less luxurious, for sure, but probably better location). Yosemite acommodations have always been expensive, and I considered $120 plausible for deluxe camping. The last time I visited, though, I rented a Vacasa in the Yosemite West out parcel using Wyndham points. That seemed like a steal, and was obviously much more comfortable, but I bet those places are above the new $250 cap.
