I have a stay planned here for late March with a SUA applied and just received an email from the hotel notifying me that due to the renovations there are no suites available during my stay. As a result they are reassigning me to a renovated King Park View Corner Studio, which looks pretty nice based on the room description and photos they shared:
"Enjoy the panoramic view of Shinjuku Central Park in a spacious and elegant 64-square-meter room that embodies the essence of Shinjuku, combining Japanese traditional techniques in a modern manner. Relax and revive in a room offering a plush king bed, two sofa beds, large bath and separate shower, complimentary wi-fi access, and high-definition flat-screen TV."
What do you think - should I ask for any form of compensation, or ask for a specific view or floor? It's going to be my first stay at this hotel. Thanks!
