Man, that's surprising and annoying. I still have two RUCs pending (our reservation was split because one was booked with the Amex companion ticket) and so I'll probably go through this again, unless it goes to the gate. Which it may, though there are still 12 seats open in F so it feels like it will go through for everyone.
