Next stop was Ushuaia, Argentina. Overnight, our ship sailed through the Strait of Magellan and the Glacier Alley.
Our ship got into port a few hours early, so we had lots of time to walk around the town, before our afternoon excursion in a catamaran through the Beagle Channel and to the Martillo Island to see more Magellan and Gentoo penguins. I had booked this excursion as a backup in case I couldn't get to the Magdalena Island, once seeing Magdalena Island, this excursion became very redundant. If I have to do it again, I probably would go to the Tierra del Fuego national park instead.
