I feel like there is no clear rhyme or reason on how the points per night is determined. I figured it could possibly be tied to the cash rate, but after picking three random weekends for both The Palazzo and The Venetian, I am not sure if that is the case.

April 11 - 14: Cash rates start at $447 and points start at 26,000 at the Venetian, while cash rates start at $579 and points start at 26,000 at the Palazzo.
July 25 - 28: Cash rates start at $372 and points start at 28,250.
December 19 - 22: Cash rates start at $282 and points starts at 30,500.

I have not tried any weeknight dates yet, but I would like to think/hope the rates and points to be lower.
