Rather than take my printed confirmation to the desk at check-in, I cancelled a reservation just yesterday. I have two more reservations in my upcoming itinerary that are showing more guests but still have King rooms assigned, so we'll see how that goes.
Have you tried calling or emailing the hotel? I did that a couple of times and they only saw 2 people on the reservation. I think there were instances of Marriott IT changing the reservation to 6 and 8 people occupancy. How does a hotel deal with that?
