It really depend on the fares, GGL and Gold were good for me for Customer Service issues - It bailed me out several times over Covid. The rest of the value proposition disappears at £5k - yes all tiers let alone GGL. However as I can frequently book CE GLA-LHR for <£200 return. I may keep doing this. In the meantime, all my not insignifcant Holiday/LH spend will be lost to BA. It "might" go to another OW offering more reasonable terms for Emerald, but I'm not holding my breath as there are vastly better J/F experiences out there
