No, no one here has gotten in "trouble" or denied miles.
Prepaid only.
No recommended properties, you just have to play around with different locations and dates. One hotel might offer 1k miles tonight but 10k miles tomorrow night. Vegas, Dubai, all over SE Asia, etc.
If you do find an exceptionally good value don't post it here (or anywhere) unless you want to ruin it for yourself and everyone else.
Overlapping dates are fine AFAIK, although I might shy away from 2 stays having the exact same check in and check out dates, although in theory that should still work fine.
If it's a phantom stay it can be on
any date, it doesn't have to coincide with dates or cities where you're actually traveling, lol.
