Ba2159- lgw-uvf-gnd

Great crew. Was expecting Brunch but full lunch served about an hour after takeoff and afternoon tea served 90 mins before landing into UVF. Drinks and nuts served for the 28 minute hop UVF-GND.

LUNCH
Salmon- was ok. Served with a cold side which was also fine.
Beef Cheeks (No jokes, please&#128512- First time i have had it and apart from a small amount of gristle, was reasonable. The better half had the Pasta which was apparently good.
For dessert, no Trifles were loaded but instead given a single choice of Yule Log-guessing BA getting rid of surplus christmas stock!! No cheese option available.

AFTERNOON TEA- I had the classic one and the wife had the vegetarian. Both ok. Had mince pie and Christmas cake instead of the macaron and Eclair. Would have preferred the Macaron and Eclair since not a fan of dry christmas cake or indeed mince pies. Once again BA getting rid of surplus. Not the best afternoon tea I have had onboard. Plenty of scones left in the galley but no second run done, which they normally do in CE!!!
Overall it was ok and guess could have been a lot worse with Brunch that I was expecting to be served. Maybe this was the plan by BA all along to lower our food expectations.
