@ Howard Long : would agree that the Emirates offering / presentation is, overall, somewhat superior to QR’s (not least the fact that EK will now happily provide a second helping, if requested !)
However……. better than both IMO was the caviar service on Malaysian which I enjoyed a few years back on KUL-LHR, when serviced by their (now-withdrawn, sadly) A380’s.
