Trust your senses - there is no separation. It's a single lounge catering for QR's Plats and Goldies, and those with equivalent status in other OneWorld FFPs. So both BAEC Silver and Gold will get you into the lounge.
The South longe complex by gate A1 segregates the tiers, offering a Platinum lounge and a Gold lounge.
All the lounges are rather good, easily matching their equivalents at Heathrow T5, so it's far more sensible to choose your lounge for its convenience - the North gates are something like Heathrow's T5 B and C. Though if you departure gate is at the North end you might as well call into the Southern lounges and see what's what if you have the time - given that you'll drop into the southern zone after passports & security, or filter in from a transfer. But watch the time: even with the help of the train, it's quite a hike between South and North.
