I entered using the TTP card for the first time today at Haneda T3. Couldn't see any signs for where to go for the TTP gates so had to ask someone - they are next to booths number 3 and 4, hidden behind the bank of e-gates for Japanese passport holders. Not easy to spot when you enter the hall. There's four gates with the same machines, but only two of them were available for use by foreigners.

Wasn't particularly smooth - my TTP card couldn't be read by either of the machines after several attempts on my own and with assistance. After this, they asked me to take a seat and went to print me a new card. The new card worked fine. Issue date on the new card is today, but expiry date remains the same.

Whole process probably took 15 minutes. During that time, only maybe one other person used the TTP gates despite the hall being pretty busy.
