This again is odd - i have never been asked to show my lounge pass in the lounge. If you have it, it's added to your room details and key card when you check in and the lounge host asks for your room number when you enter (in my experience) and then a good host usually remembers who you are.

So, my point - which I believe is still valid - that many on this forum are indeed making judgements about other guests they don't like or behaviour they regard to be inappropriate rather than actual knowledge of who has a guest pass or not. There's no way of knowing... in IC SF, I was charged for my kids to use the lounge (fair enough, my access with my pass, theirs paid for - we had two rooms, which weren't booked with lounge access, but no one else would know that) whereas IC Phuket we had a 2 bed Villa, so that's actually 1 room but with 5 people, all included lounge access (by virtue of room, rather than my lounge pass)

Unless you are either directly asking guests (IMO weird) or getting access to info you shouldn't be (IMO wrong) you cannot know who is and isn't using a pass, has access or in there without permission.
