How can you possibly know if someone is a guest or guesting or has a club room or has a lounge pass - unless it's information you've asked each and every guest, then you shouldn't know... it's all speculation or as a result of a data breach or you're spying on people which is both weird and wrong.
If a staff member at the hotel has given you information, then they really shouldn't have and you're also breaching their confidence by revealing data on a public forum.

Furthermore, you have no idea how many guests are staying in club rooms at any given time - unless again you're spying on all the rooms or been given information you shouldn't have, or how many lounge access passes the hotel you're at have sold - and again you can only know that by having access to information you shouldn't have...
As HadesNL shared, the maximizers are around and at times can be rather vocal and somewhat aggressive towards staff, especially in Asia (as per my observation as push back is softer) where some folks (guests) seem to have some leftover colonial superiority complex when addressing local staff. Again, I said some and not all, but the desire to maximize is definitely there in cases.

Lounge Pass is for 2 guests staying in the same room and not a 1 guest in room and a +1 that can be on a "rotating" basis or worse 2 in room and +2, +3 from other rooms or so Simple rather one would think, but can't milk it sufficiently for some so creativity and at times intimidation (the DYKWIA) comes to play.

If one wants more people to be able to access the lounge, they can just ask for a supplementary fee or upgrade the other guests room or whatever.

I offered to pay a supplementary fee for a friend who had an overlapping stay with our time on property there (for 2 days) at an IC Resort in Asia where we were booked in a Club Suite (2 guests registered to the suite) and the Club Lounge manager kindly extended the access for that +1 person free of charge as I'm a long time guest. Nice outcome, but not expected and no funny business so that can make a difference. YMMV.
