Yeah, certainty is better than uncertainty when you fly. Like I'm booked on Aerolineas from Mendoza to Santiago. I suspect (but I'm not sure) that I get only carry-on, and not a free checked bag. That would be fine, but what happens if I find a bottle of wine in Mendoza that I want to bring to Chile with me? I know that if I'm flying domestically within Argentina -- or within Chile -- no problem. Carry on wine is fine on those flights. But what about an int'l flight between the two? That's usually a problem on int'l flights, but is it a problem in Mendoza to fly to Santiago? I have no idea. And if it is a problem, what would Aerolineas charge me to check a bag (assuming I don't already get one for free)? Again, I have absolutely no idea.
