Despite the fact that this car rental reservation was made online, and I have a Hertz account, the 407 toll road charges were not invoiced using any electronic means. Instead, Hertz sent me the invoice for the 407 charges solely by old fashioned snail postal mail--during a national postal strike.
This exact same thing happened to me. Just got the notice in the mail in Jan 2025 with the notice date being Nov 6, 2024 and the due date being Dec 1, 2024 for a trip I took in Aug 2024.
If you don't mind me asking, how did you end up paying for it? I logged in online and it says I don't have any outstanding payments that need to be made. I called on the phone and I only get as far as the credit card portion and it asks me for a USA zip code lol. No way to speak to a human as it automatically hangs up. I sent them an email but no reply back yet. I don't want to mail a cheque lol.
