So MHC brilliantly managed all the interactions with the Andaz.
Despite all their efforts they finally won’t be able to open for my stay startingg on January 15th but only on 20th.
They are thus offering me to rebook me under the same rate into either the Park Hyatt or Grand Hyatt (up to me) plus some points for the inconvenience caused.
So another delay but the result is not too bad (I guess thanks to MHC intervention)?
Do you mind sharing how long the entire stay was supposed to be?
Are they offering to let you check in to the Andaz on the 20th after your 5 night stay in the other property?
Did they offer any sort of additional room upgrade?
Are they 99 percent certain it'll be ready on the 20th?
How many points did they offer?
I ask because I have a 2 night booking on the 24th, used a suite upgrade, and am excited to MAYBE be the first one to sleep in my room? I know new hotels have hiccups but its still cool and I can be one of the first to do some reviews...
