I bought ultrabasic, and usually upgrade to comfort row to get carry on. Westjet rep on the platinum support line said exit row seats are extended comfort. I've only ever done ultrabasic with the comfort upgrade to rows 4-7, so just confirming if anyone on here has done exit row with ultrabasic and got their carry on allowed?
