I would rather stay here than HC Ginza - cue the debate ;-)
Note: I did not realize that the hotel is connected via tunnels to Shinjuku Station itself - majorly increases convenience (though, it’s a 15 minute speedy walk), especially during rain
I would come back.
Thank you for the review and update. The renovated rooms look nice. I always like staying at this hotel for the price and location, especially when they used to have the pool and the shuttle. The Oedo line is fine. Looks like they really moved everything around. The club lounge used to be in the lower floors and now is on 28th? Is the 5th floor front desk permanent or just temporary. I like those rooms in the middle facing the park (I always ask for 20 stack rooms). I have seen Mt Fuji a few times and also the moon rising over the high rise across is wonderful too. I think Fall has the best chance to see Mt Fuji from the room.
The tunnel connection to Shinjuku station is very convoluted and I always got lost. It is much easier to walk straight by the side of the hotel and the park, about two blocks later, the it is covered and with one way people moving walkway.
It is weird, why can't people like your post?
