Just flagging a recent issue I have encountered. I flew Alaska Airlines DCA-SEA-DCA back in October (Alaska issued ticket on Alaska metal). The mileage did not credit automatically as it usually does within a week for either segment. My AAdvantage number was on file, and confirmed via Alaska as I was able to get Premium class seating upon ticketing and an upgrade to first on the way home with my Executive platinum status. My AAdvantage number and stats was on my boarding passes as well. I submitted a Mileage request for the missing points, they got back to me a week later requesting boarding passes and the eticket which I sent back (fare classes were both eligible for LPs). Today AA replied with a denial stating 'Airline unable to validate'. I know one other colleague with the same issue. Is there some sort of systemwide issue between Alaska and American at the moment? Has anyone been successful in getting these miles credited with AA?
