We have seen some intermittent cases in the last few months of this. I recall someone posted about C7 on DFW-PVG and another about PHX-LHR; both times, I and others verified EF and confirmed that it was showing C space despite it not being there on aa.com or through the agents. I also saw C7 on almost every flight one night at 2 AM (a month ago?).
Broadly, it appears to be working, but the false positive rate appears to have ticked up a lot recently.
I see C0 on that route.
