You will have to check if the flight was marketed by KL but operated by MH. While your ticket remains 074 or 057, you may have the flight on the ticket indicated as KLxxxx or MHxxxx. If you have KLxxxx on the ticket, then you may have a bigger chance of arguing with AF/KL.

Even if you have a codeshare flight which was marketed by KL, but operated by MH then there should be listed on AF's website regarding their partnership with MH:

Through the website, you can find detailed information about the luggage, lounge access, and the use of priority counter. For example, when travelling on an AF ticket, marketed by AF, but operated by LG (Luxair) between LUX and CDG, then we would have access to the Luxair lounge at LUX, but there is no extra luggage given to status members. All non-alliance partner's offering is listed on that website.
